  • Convenience

We come to you! Primarily, we provide treatment in your home. This allows us to troubleshoot real world mobility problems and help you to become more independent and safe in your own environment (no more simulation, just doing the real thing). It also saves you time and hassle.

And when you are ready, our clinic space is accessible and centrally located to take your sessions to the next level!

  • Specialization

We don’t treat people with orthopedic problems or other issues most PT clinics address. We only treat people with neurological diagnoses- stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, vestibular impairments, MS, Parkinson’s, etc. That is because both therapists at Neuroactive are Neurological Clinical Specialists, meaning we went through board certification to specialize in treating neuro conditions and that is our passion. We are laser focused and skilled at addressing issues related to neurological disorders.

  • Dedication

Neuroactive is a small practice. We are not seeing 20 patients a day, scattered, and burnt out. We are doing things different than the traditional outpatient PT model so that we can be a part of each patient’s team, in their corner, and dedicated to getting them better. When you are part of our client base, we are committed to helping you meet your mobility goals.

  • Value

A session with Neuroactive is, at minimum, a full hour of intense, research-based, individualized therapy or wellness visits. There are no distractions from you. You, your goals, and your progress have our whole, undivided attention throughout your whole visit. And if you would benefit from a longer session, we do that. No insurance restrictions means we can do what is best for you and your recovery.

  • Focus

Your goals are the goals we will work towards. We will take time to listen. We want to know what motivates you, what you are struggling with, and what you want to get back to doing. That way we can tailor your treatment to what matters to you. We are passionate about exploring all avenues to give you the best results possible.

Treatment focusing on:

  • Walking

Gait training to make it safer, more efficient, and easier to walk from point A to point B.

  • Exercise

Effective exercise that is challenging and targeted at getting you to your goals. We strive to make sure intensity matches what research says will help you recover, prevent further deterioration, and improve your function and overall heath.

  • Mobility

We train you and your family in the basics of moving better and safer within your environment. This includes transfers of all kinds (getting in and out of the car, on and off the floor, on and off the toilet, or even on and off your favorite recliner), negotiating stairs, moving in bed, or any other task of moving your body through the day.

  • Education

Having a new neurological condition can change a lot of things about how you live your life and your health. We help you understand the new ways your body functions and empower you with the knowledge of how to recover, adapt, and prevent further issues.
